In July (this is a belated post) we added our third banana circle to the property. As they say, third time’s the charm, since this was by far the easiest and most fun one we’ve made yet.
First we dug a deep pit. This took only about a half hour.
We dug up 7 banana suckers and planted them in the soil we dug out. We added lots of mulch in the pit, which will break down and feed the bananas.
Our end product was a pleasing banana circle, easy to make and maintain.
